Obulaxmi leads day-to-day operations, ensuring every initiative runs efficiently and stays aligned with our sustainability and impact goals. She manages daily workflows, delegates and oversees intern tasks, tracks events and initiatives, drives college and student outreach, and supports decision-making and strategy.

Background
With a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from one of India’s most prestigious institutions  Anna University, she brings 4+ years of expertise in corporate sustainability reporting, research, and management.

Her Purpose
Coming from a Tier 2 city and rooted in a textile business family,she believes purpose is about living a meaningful life that contributes to the environment.

Her “Thing”
She’s like the perfect gift-giver, always hand-made, thoughtful, and unique. Painting and singing are her therapies, and she does both beautifully.

Roles & Responsibilities
A key part of our leadership team, Saraswathi is one of our strongest pillars of support. She brings in her wisdom and mom-abilities to guide us with steady steps in key decision-making. Her role involves fund disbursements, budgeting, overseeing documentation, and ensuring the happy mental health of our team.

Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics with over 20 years of experience in administration and corporate management, and 15+ years as a business owner handling financials.

Her Purpose:
Coming from a family of 10 siblings where education was a privilege, her purpose has been to support as many women as possible in achieving financial independence.

Her “Thing”:
She enjoys historical dramas and has a craze for the tiniest, cutest things. And OMG, don’t even get us started on her gardening obsession; if she’s not working, she’s definitely with her plants.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the visionary behind our organization, Desika plays a pivotal role in shaping our mission and long-term strategies. Her leadership ensures that every initiative aligns with the NGO’s core values and goals. She drives strategy and ideation, establishes standard operating procedures (SOPs), generates leads and expands networks, manages stakeholder relations, and makes key decisions to ensure the overall growth and impact of the organization.

Background
With over 7 years of experience in sustainability, Desika brings deep expertise in waste-to-value projects, environmental compliance, corporate sustainability reporting, R&D, and technology transfer of eco-friendly products and processes.

Her Purpose
She firmly believes that talent is a gift and it is our responsibility to use it for the greater good. Her vision is to live with honesty and leave behind a legacy that continues to touch and uplift lives.

Her “Thing”
A self-proclaimed series addict (even on repeat mode), she calls it her only “vice.” She’s also crazy about small chubby soft toys and has an unshakable sweet tooth.

Roles & Responsibilities
Prabakar oversees our finances with transparency and accountability at the core. He plays a pivotal role in securing sponsorships, expanding our industrial network, and guiding the team with his wisdom. He actively brings together key stakeholders, resources, and knowledge partners, all while grounding us in our core values.

Background
With over 25 years of expertise in plastic recycling, social philanthropy, and leadership roles in global social organizations, Prabakar brings both experience and vision to our journey.

His Purpose
Coming from a farming background and working his way through college to earn a B.Com degree, his purpose is clear to support young entrepreneurs and business owners in every way he can.

His “Thing”
When he’s not being the most genuine helping heart, you’ll find him happily crunching a fresh murukku or deeply engaged in one of his many associations, always working toward the welfare of others.
