1.GUARANTEE
DPurpose Foundation doesn’t guarantee that the registered project on our platform
will raise the full quoted funds. All funding outcomes depend on contributor support,
project importance, and implementation.
2. NO REFUNDS
All contributions made through DPurpose Foundation are final and non-refundable.
Once a contribution is received, it will remain with the DPurpose Foundation to be
allocated. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
3. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Teams applying for funding via DPurpose Foundation must submit all the required
documents. We will acknowledge receipt of your application and will notify whether,
approved or not, within 10 to 15 business days. If approved, you’ll receive the next
steps.
4. INFORMATION
DPurpose Foundation publishes all the project details on the website that
contributors need to make informed decisions. If a potential contributor requires
additional information, they may contact us directly by email or phone for further
discussion.
5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
DPurpose Foundation retains contributor and project data in perpetuity to meet legal
and audit requirements. You may request the deletion of your data, but this will be
subject to some adherence requirements.
6. AUTHORIZED USE
You may electronically view copies of reports, funding, and projects displayed on our
website for your personal use, and no rights to those materials are transferred to you.
7. FUNDING DISBURSEMENT
Approved projects will receive funding according to the agreed terms, contingent
upon proposed milestone achievements. DPurpose Foundation reserves the right to
adjust disbursement schedules based on project progress and available funds.
We also monitor and track the use of those funds, requesting periodic reports to
ensure proper application toward the approved project scope.
8. FUNDS USE
The requested funds must be used only for project-related expenses as detailed in
the approved allocation. If a team deviates or drops the project, the funds will be
redirected to another project, while DPurpose Foundation will retain the admin fee
from the contributions.
DPurpose has the right to nominally redirect funds to provide support and other related services for the benefit of students. Teams may request a complete financial breakdown at any time, and we will provide this information within 10 to 15 days.

9. AUDIT RIGHTS
We may, at our discretion, audit the project records to verify proper fund usage. You
agree to provide full access to relevant documents and premises for this purpose.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- You retain ownership of any intellectual property (IP) created under this program. However, it depends on the terms governing the event, the organiser and/or sponsor of a hackathon may also claim rights in IP generated at the event.
- You grant DPurpose Foundation permission to use project descriptions, results, and related materials for promotion and reporting purposes.
11. CONFIDENTIALITY
DPurpose Foundation will treat your application materials as confidential. We will not
disclose sensitive information except as required by law or with your consent.
