I was a judge at a college event in Salem, listening to student pitches – some ambitious, some practical. But Varsha and Sindhuja stood out. Their idea? A simple, affordable water purifier. Their passion was undeniable.
When I followed up later, I expected progress. Instead, I heard hesitation. They needed just ₹5,000 to test their prototype. Varsha, raised by a single mother, wanted to build a future for her family. Sindhuja, already married, still dreamed of having a career.
