Climafix 2025: A Catalyst for Women’s Leadership in Sustainability

Climafix 2025 brought together pioneers from climate tech, sustainability, green manufacturing, eco-innovation, and clean-tech entrepreneurship, creating a vibrant space for ideas and leadership to converge. As ecosystem partners, DPurpose Foundation was honoured with a special mention on stage, where our founder delivered a crisp 2-3 minute introduction about who we are, the programs we run, and our mission to uplift women and student entrepreneurs, especially in manufacturing. Representing an all-women team dedicated to purpose-led climate action made our presence stand out even more, resonating deeply with the audience and drawing the attention of many young women innovators who connected instantly with the power and clarity of our message.

Representation doesn’t just inspire – it activates.

What followed became one of the most energizing parts of the event. Dozens of women walked up to us, eager to discuss their ideas, journeys, and aspirations. Reshma from Milletize shared her vision for solving critical challenges in the millet value chain and sought our support for promoting and strengthening her startup. Jayshree, an environmental engineer, said our speech felt truly “energetic and inspiring” and expressed her interest in joining DPurpose as an intern along with her friend. Faheera, a founder from IITM, discussed collaboration possibilities after connecting with our mission. Dhwani from Ploxi Carbon explored partnership opportunities in sustainability consulting for industries. Swetha, an energy analyst, expressed her interest in skill-building and contributing to our initiatives. And Nicole, a venture capitalist passionate about women-led innovation, showed strong interest in funding environmental ideas aligned with DPurpose’s focus.

Climafix created an opportunity for us to meet women who are shaping the future, deeply driven, purpose-oriented, and determined to build for the planet. The event allowed them to discover how they could collaborate with us, seek guidance, or contribute to our mission. It also reinforced how essential it is to create spaces where women feel represented, heard, and supported, especially in sustainability and climate technology.

For DPurpose Foundation, Climafix 2025 became a turning point, opening doors to powerful collaborations, skilling pathways, and meaningful partnerships with women-led climate innovators. The connections we built at the summit are already taking shape, from supporting emerging women founders to exploring co-creation opportunities and strengthening the climate entrepreneurship ecosystem. As we move forward, our commitment remains firm: to champion women’s ideas, enable women-led startups, nurture skill development, and build ecosystems where collaboration turns into real impact. Climafix reiterated that when purposeful voices meet the right platform, transformation is not just possible, it becomes inevitable.
