Mihir’s Journey: From Bengaluru Innovators to Eco-Entrepreneurs

Mihir, a chemical engineering graduate from RV College of Engineering in Bengaluru, always dreamed of creating something meaningful. Encouraged by his family, especially his father, a product manager who inspired experimentation and supported his ambitions, Mihir teamed up with his partner Raghav to tackle the challenge of expensive, environmentally harmful industrial lubricants. Together, they developed an innovative, cost effective metal nanoparticle-based lubricant made from recycled e-waste, determined to make industrial lubricants both affordable and eco-friendly.
Making a product is one thing, but taking it forward and commercializing it is a completely different angle. 
We at DPurpose, had the privilege to serve and support Mihir and Raghav at this crucial stage of their journey. Through focused sessions, hands-on mentorship, and expert inputs, we helped shape not just their product but their entrepreneurial thinking. We guided them through key concepts such as market positioning, financial modeling, and communication strategies, ensuring they had the right tools to move beyond the lab and into the market.
One major challenge they faced was bridging the gap between innovation and commercialization, realizing that having a great product wasn’t enough without a clear path to market. They also learned the value of customer feedback and real world validation, which they embraced through field testing in collaboration with a Tumkur based company. These experiences not only strengthened their business approach but also deepened their understanding of market dynamics.
Today, Mihir and Raghav’s eco-friendly lubricant is on the path to becoming a game changer, offering industries a greener and more cost-effective solution. With continued expert guidance, funding opportunities, and their own unwavering determination, they aim to scale their venture and make sustainable lubricants accessible across India. Their journey is a testament to how the right support can transform young innovators into eco-entrepreneurs driving real change.
