In the middle of the chaos at Startup Mahakhumb, where conversations were rushed and rooms kept emptying out, Jagdeep chose to stay back. What could have been a passing interaction turned into a deep, heartfelt conversation about shared purpose and vision. He saw not just a young all-female team trying to find its way, but the heart behind our work in sustainability and grassroots innovation, and he instantly aligned himself with it.
Support isn’t just about advice; it’s about opening doors at the right time.
From that very first meeting, Jagdeep became more than a connection, he became an advocate. Within hours he was asking, “How do I be part of this?” and before we knew it, he was sending 50-60 targeted emails, opening doors to partnerships, sponsors, and opportunities we could never have reached on our own. His hustle amplified the reach of our event and turned our ideas into visible impact.
What set him apart was the selflessness behind his actions. Jagdeep never once asked what he would gain from helping us, his belief in our cause was reason enough. Even with his own commitments pulling him in every direction, he found time to motivate us, guide us, and remind us that our work mattered. His eyes lit up when we spoke about empowering smaller towns and cities, and in those moments, we felt the strength of someone who truly shared our dream.
